If you are a registered shareowner, your name appears in Carrier’s shareowner register maintained by Computershare.  You receive dividends through Computershare, whether by check, director deposit or you may be reinvesting your dividends through Carrier’s Direct Stock Purchase and Dividend Reinvestment Plan.

If your shares are held in “street name” through an account with a bank, brokerage firm or other intermediary, then Computershare does not maintain your account.  Instead, those intermediaries hold the shares in “street name” and you are the beneficial owner of those shares. Your dividends are paid to your intermediary, which, in turn, distributes the dividends to you.

Carrier and Computershare do not have records of beneficial owners of Carrier stock. In these circumstances, please contact your broker, bank or other intermediary for assistance with any questions concerning ownership or dividends.
